The thing is, it REQUIRES you to enter both the correct telephone numer AND the e-mail number...now if you use numerous telephone numbers when working in the telco business, or have switched to a different job, it's basically impossible for you to get back in...If Nokia based pswd recovery on just one of those items the security would not suffer, and the UX would be much less frustrating :)

Only the freq for 3G is different, it'll run on 2G in EU. For the sim lock the masses of people that unlocked the iPhone don't have anything to do in their spare time :), I believe they can't wait for it to ship.
